FFplus will support European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups in testing new applications of high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI). Initiated by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, the project will build on the transformative successes of the Fortissimo and FF4EuroHPC projects.
What will be the future of High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems or supercomputers in the Baltic States – how to use supercomputers in business and public institutions and why the development of supercomputers requires state support – is discussed by experts at the 4th Baltic HPC and Cloud conference on April 11 and 12.
Less than 20% of SME’s know what a supercomputer is. Less than 5% of SME’s know how they can attract investments and overtake competitors using a supercomputer, according to the observations of the Latvian HPC competence Centre “SuperS”, working with Latvian and European entrepreneurs daily.
The EuroHPC User Day will take place on 11 December 2023, in Brussels, in Belgium. The dissemination event will bring together EuroHPC Users and will be the occasion for users to attend parallel sessions, learn about different topics and deepen their understanding on the possibilities offered by the EuroHPC JU.
